Simple soapmaking instructions for homemade olive oil soap with Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose essential oils.

Frankincense, myrrh and rose combined give the skin the most incredible boost, the trio of essential oils combined in this particular synergy give dry and mature skin a powerful lift, soft, gentle and soothing, This blend is a fabulous anti-ageing remedy, all of the essential oils have been used since Ancient times for skincare.....no surprise that they have been revered and traded as luxurious and highly prized commodities. Frankincense has been used in religious ceremonies as incense, throughout the world for thousands of years, indeed Frankincense and Myrrh were brought to the baby Jesus by the three kings.

Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose are not only fabulous and rich skincare oils but also are highly soothing and balancing, anti-inflammatory, relaxing and calming, great for menstrual problems, PMT, the menopause and days where you just feel out of sorts !

Homemade Soap making instructions.... for homemade soap with Olive Oil & Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose Essential Oils.

This recipe makes 8-12 bars of soap, depending on your preference of size.

Pure Olive Oil Soapmaking Ingredients, all weighed out on a scale.

20 oz of oil

2.5 oz Lye

7.5 oz Water

6 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

6 drops Myrrh Essential Oil

8 drops Rose Essential Oil

Equipment that you need.

Steel pan

Pyrex jug

Candy thermometer

2 wooden spoons

Stick blender

Eye protection and rubber gloves (health and safety !)

Greaseproof paper

Plastic cartons or silicone cake moulds.

Homemade Soap Recipes soap making instructions for making Pure Olive Oil Soap with Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose Essential Oils.

1. Put water into jug, place jug in sink.

2.Open window, don eye-protection and rubber gloves.

3.Gently sprinkle lye into the water, mix gently,with wooden spoon, it will get very hot.

Take care not to splash it about.

4.Leave the jug, with the lye mixture in the sink.

5.Heat the oil in the steel pan, over a gentle heat until it reaches 110F, use the candy thermometer.

6.Test lye temperature when it is also 110F, gently add into the heated oil.

7.Mix lye and oil together using the stick blender.....carefully !

8.When the mixture resembles creamy custard and is at the point where a drizzle of the mix will lay briefly on top of the mixture, "trace" has been reached.

9.Add the essential oils into the mix,give the mixture one last ,quick zizz wth the stick blender !

That's It !

Now pour the mixture into your chosen mould.

Smooth down mix.

Cover with greaseproof paper.

Wrap blankets over the top and walk away for 2 days.

After 48 hours, take out of the moulds.

Place onto greaseproof paper and leave for 5 weeks to "cure".

After 5 weeks your homemade, Frankincense, Myrrh and Rose handmade olive oil soap is ready to use.
